Much slower performance #115

It is specifically this plugin combined with the Obsidian-Aura theme - I have tried divide and conquer method from https://publish.obsidian.md/hub/04+-+Guides%2C+Workflows%2C+%26+Courses/Guides/How+to+debug+why+Obsidian+is+running+slowly and without this enabled and every single other plugin enabled, there is no lag.

CPU Usage goes from 6 to 13% Windows 11, Asus Zenbook 14, Style settings V1.0.3, Obsidian V1.1.16

I'm having the same issues, at first I thought it was ITS Theme. When i switched to default all slowdowns disappeared, but then i tried ITS without Style Settings and it was much better again. Not the same as Default, but much better!

I would've attached some Performance profiles from Obsidians built-in profiler, but when i try to save them they just dont get saved for some reason.

In either case this is a huge issue for me, as the letters are literally not appearing on screen while I'm typing.

Please help.

I ended up disabling style-settings nad just ussing CSS snippets becasue of horrible performance penalties. I suspect it's not just CSS but also leaks and it possible interacts weirdly with other functionalities (such as renames)

I experience the same lagging performance. But I do need the styling from Style Setting. Hope it could be improved.

My CPU is around 0-1% on processes, so no telltale signs. I didn't suspect it and for Superchanged Links it is a must.
I deactivated it yesterday. Tab opening/closing and general handling with typing speed now much improved.
