However, I can't import anything from zotero into obsidian. I get no errors, obsidian just opens an empty tab.
I'm running on windows, zotero version 6.0.30.
I can see all the data in the data explorer, but I can't copy it from the data explorer to a note.
Insert into current note doesn't work, with or without template.
hey I got it to work, but I'm not sure how.
A few problems I encountered along the way:
almost all PDFs transferred from Mendeley won't open. Have to replace them with "freshly" downloaded pdfs
with one file, the name of the PDF that pdfannots2json.exe was trying to open was different from the actual name. I don't know why. I just renamed the PDF in the zotero storage folder.
I think the settings of the plugin don't update properly, or it's something related to that. I noticed that after I changed the output folder, the "import note" command would create an empty note in the old folder.
I have no clue why this is the case, but I removed the manually specified import and re-added it, and then magically it worked!!!
Hi, I just set up zotero with obsidian following this blog: https://medium.com/@alexandraphelan/an-updated-academic-workflow-zotero-obsidian-cffef080addd.
However, I can't import anything from zotero into obsidian. I get no errors, obsidian just opens an empty tab. I'm running on windows, zotero version 6.0.30.
I can see all the data in the data explorer, but I can't copy it from the data explorer to a note. Insert into current note doesn't work, with or without template.
any ideas how to fix it?
