Not pulling annotations across #373

I have a wierd issue with annotations. It may be related to #363 but there are differences so I'm starting a new thread

I tried 20 times to import the annotations from a Zotero PDF with no success. I could export the PDF from Zotero and manually extract the annotations with pdfannots2json.exe which established that the executable isn't being blocked. I could not, however, see any annotations in Data Explorer

Then, it suddenly worked. And I could do the same for another annotated PDF but, then the next one didn't work.

The Zotero library is new, and not shared. I see no errors in the developer console (not execution details either).

Thoughts?

Some version numbers: Zotero 6.0.36 BibTex 6.7.203 Obsidian 1.6.3 Zotero Integration 1.3.8

I was having a similar issue. I can't import notes from items in certain collections, data explorer shows 0 annotations even though I have many. there's no error in the console. I just updated betterbibtex (through the add-on menu), restarted zotero and it magically started working again. maybe this could solve it for you, too? saw another issue where this was helped someone ( #375 )

Thanks very much @JuliaWasala for taking the time to reply. I think you're right - a betterbibtex update seems to have solved the problem.
