The problem statement says that the LED is button controlled. I had an idea for how one might design a slider that would allow 5 discrete positions as needed, but I wasn't sure if it would be allowed.
Should I interpret the "button controlled" in the question as: "a literal physical button" or "a way for users to interact with the device and control the output (where something like a slider would be ok)"?
