Portage now has five package cleaning functions:
--clean
--depclean
--rage-clean
--unmerge
--prune
We really don't need that much, and the specific behavior should be controlled by boolean options rather than additional actions.
Portage now has five package cleaning functions:
--clean
that apparently cleans multiple packages installed in one slot.--depclean
that checks for revdeps and can either remove specified packages or clean unused.--rage-clean
that is equivalent to--unmerge
but skips waiting.--prune
that apparently removes old versions of specified package(s) or worldwide.--unmerge
that dumbly removes specified package(s).We really don't need that much, and the specific behavior should be controlled by boolean options rather than additional actions.
