What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Setup Eclipse eclipse-jee-galileo-SR2-macosx-carbon.tar.gz
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I followed all the steps in video and the http://localhost:8080/ is not
working.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I downloaded eclipse galileo, SR2 Macosx

Please provide any additional information below.
I am not sure if the version is the reason.

The setup instructions are really out of date and I've not been able to get
anywhere either using eclipse Juno on Win7 despite hours of trying. I've been
able to find the correct versions of the various plugins and add to work space
but I get nothiing.

I'd recommend using YouTube Direct Lite if you're having trouble with the
YouTube Direct setup: https://code.google.com/p/youtube-direct-lite/

Thanks but the Lite version doesn't do everything I need - I want users to
actually submit the videos so they are added to the channel not just the
playlist.

I get the impression that the direct project is no longer supported and wont be
further developed?

Neither YouTube Direct nor YouTube Direct Lite support uploading videos
directly into a single master channel. This blog post explains why that's not a
recommended approach:

No one is actively working on the YouTube Direct (non-Lite) code. It's open
source, so anyone can fork things off as needed, but I'm not aware of any
efforts to do so.
