11 years ago Huh... another strange thing. I just uploaded a second picture, to test another aspect of the design... So the homepage currently shows the newest picture, and its related blog text, which is fine. I then click on the "previous" arrow, and the picture changes to the previous one in the list. but.... the blog text stays the same (as the newest one), instead of changing to the text thats attached to the picture.
This seems like it shouldnt be happening, and is making me think I have missed something fundamental somewhere.
edit: Another odd double-posting issue... If I add the widget "Recent Webcomics" to the sidebar, and get it to show the webcomics in this collection, two thumbnails appear, showing my two pictures, which I would expect. However, if I click on one to load the page up, the bigger version of the picture appears off to the left, with tiny navigation controls. and then below that, the proper navigations bars appear, with a second, properly centres, version of the picture in betweent them (as it should be) followed by the text that is linked to the post.
This is just bizarre behaviour, its what I would expect to happen if I had been playing around with the CSS code and had messed up links and templates.. but this is all on totally default code, with no other plugins or themes interfering with it.
I'm using the newest Webcomic plugin, with stock inkblot theme.

Hi! I'm new to wordpress, and therefore also new to webcomic, and so my question may be embarassingly simple and obvious to fix....however I cant see the solution at the moment.
Now I believe I am posting my first webcomic page correctly. I am adding a "new webcomic" post, Using the media button on the right hand side to attach a picture to the post, and typing in my blog/news entry in the text field. This produces (when looking at the site) my picture at the top, with navigation buttons above and below, and my text just below that. All fine.
However, I did a test. I will only be posting a new picture once or twice a week, but I may want to add a new post to the page if some new news or something comes up. So I would want to add a new standard blog post below the original one, in a list below.
However, if I click on a "new post" (as in a standard wordpress post), I get a problem. The page begins normally, with the comic and original post as it should be. But then below that, over to the left, the comic picture gets posted again, along with a repeat of its blog text. The new post text then appears below that.
I have no idea why it would do this, as the comic is not attached in any way to the "new post".
As an aside, I also attempted to do it by adding a new webcomic post, but even without a picture attached, this creates a new page in the webcomic, and means I have a page with no picture at all, and just text showing below the navigation bars.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
My ideal scenario: Once a week, a new comic/picture gets posted, which starts a new "page" on the blog. Any news that I post between then and the next picture I post up a week later, gets put on the bottom of that page.
I've seen this done using this plugin on the sample sites... I'm just not sure what I'm missing.
