Importing webcomic data to new Wordpress/Webcomic install #155

Hi,

The subject pretty much says it all. I have a site with Webcomic 3.0.10 installed and for a variety of reasons have decided to retire it. I setup a new site with the latest version of Wordpress & Webcomic and am wondering if the Webcomic posts can be transferred to the new site? The Wordpress import/export tool doesn't do the trick and tells me the post_type has changed.

Would there be another way to do it?

From my experience, the best way to do it is to upgrade the old site and then transfer it via the import/export tool.

The author changed a lot of the "behind the scenes" of the latest Webcomic which prevents any way of transferring the posts without upgrading.
