Question about using Webcomic on Wordpress Multisite #198

Hello. I was wondering if there's a way to disable Webcomic on WPMU accounts that are not webcomic sites. It clutters the UI for the accounts that are purely blogs, and there doesn't seem to be a way to disable it on individual accounts other than just disabling it for all sites ("Network Deactivate")... which is not what I want to do.

From what I can find: no (with a few of caveats). It looks like WordPress' Network Activate option is an all-or-nothing kind of thing; when a plugin is network-activated, it's on for all sites, always. So you apparently can't have Webcomic (or any other plugin) both network-activated and disabled for one or two sites.

That side, there are apparently a few options:

The second option is probably the way to go. Let me know how it works if you try it.
