Layout question #211

right now my site is structure like this:

[header] [menu] [comics] [blog posts] [footer]

Is there a way to remove the blog posts and put them on a separate page?

mgsisk commented 10 years ago

There is, though the best way to do that depends on what theme you're using. Can you share a link to your site? Or at least which theme you're using?

I'm using inkblot

Thanks. You'll probably want to setup a static front page for your site. The page you select as your front page should use the Webcomic Home page template.

weekendwitchcraft commented 10 years ago

Thanks! That works, but is there some way to have a stand alone blog page?

mgsisk commented 10 years ago

When you specify a static front page you should also have the option to select a Posts page. Whatever page you select for that will become the blog page.

I can't remember right now, but Inkblot might still try to display webcomics on your Posts page. If it does, you can disable that from the Theme Customizer (uncheck Show webcomic on the front page).
