I am using VCV Rack via the VST plugin in Ableton. The teleport module is extremely helpful here because it theoretically provides audio and MIDI/CV routing between tracks in a way that's not natively supported in Ableton. Normally, an Audio track can only get one Audio input, and similar for MIDI tracks. But using Teleport, that restriction is not there anymore.
This works fine for MIDI/CV information, and it kind of works for audio, except there's a bunch of added noise, like you ran it through a bit crusher.
I realize this is kind of niche and you are not necessarily writing your plugin with VST usage in mind (and to boot, I don't know if this issue is just with Ableton or other DAWs as well).

I don't see the same issue in standalone VCV.
