Oh wow, she's at level 23 already? That's actually the last level on the version published in the play store right now, so it's probably failing trying to go to level 24. I'll try and work up a fix to allow it to at least keep playing at level 23, and as soon as I can get more artwork made for more words I can add new levels.
What alphabet does Indonesian use? Phoenicia needs a big refactor in order to support right-to-left languages and scripted alphabets like Arabic or Hindi, so Indonesian might not be possible right now.
I'd be happy to answer any questions you have for that LXER.com article. As a side note, the biggest bottleneck I have right now is artwork, if your article can include a call for help on that, it would really help.
It would also help us if you can leave us a review in the Google Play Store :)
Hi @nobicycle I have a beta version up that should fix your crash. It's in beta right now, you can opt in to the beta program here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.linguaculturalists.phoenicia
Please let me know if it fixes your issue and I'll roll it out into production
Hi Michael
Ill do a review on google soon and hopefully elsewhere. Unfortunately sites like lxer.com appear lazy, only accepting new articles from an "in-crowd"
com.linguaculturalists.phoenicia-12.apk the beta had to reinstalled (lack of space) so I'll report back in a few days about the level 23 crash.
I intend to adapt Phoenicia to language Bahasa Indonesia - the most sensible language in the world, a designed language that became official in 1945. It uses plain letters similar to English.

Dear Michael
Phoenicia is crashing at level 23 on startup. I could just reinstall of course but if there is anything I can do to help debug the problem, like sending you the logs, then I would be pleased to do it.
Secondly I could try to translate it and convert it for Indonesia - if that is possible.
Thirdly, THIS APP IS THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE HOLY GRAIL FOR EARLY READING!!!!. This is no exaggeration! My daughter, now 4.5 years in age, has known phonemes and the alphabet for years. She has used many apps, including whiz-bang, expensive reading apps. Nothing excited her interest. With Phoenicia, she was reading within hours. This difference in my opinion - a mentally effective activity structure.
If there is anything I can do to help? I will do a write-up on LXER.com but they have very strange editorial policy, so no guarantee of publishing.
Thank you very much.
