@mhchem After the mhchem extension is created in KaTeX, would you be willing to modify the Manual page as per this pull request?
If so, then I would be very brief with mhchem documentation in the KaTeX repository and instead include a link there that points to the Manual in this repository.
It would be good to have only one manual page to maintain.
