Update to follow expl3 changes #25

This is all 'tidying up' where we've made expl3 more clear on conventions.

@josephwright Is there any possibility I could talk you in to another patch to bring pkgloader up to snuff with the 2020 release of expl3/latex3? I'm extremely willing to pay for a few hours of your time! (I'm assuming that what is needed is just some more cleanup, rather than a rewrite...)

Has the developer abandoned this project then? Such a shame, because it was a great idea, and seemed to be working well for a while. Perhaps a fork can be created, if so.

@RussianDina, @josephwright

Has the developer abandoned this project then?

Essentially, yes. I haven't written anything in LaTeX for many years now. I continued to release patches for a while after that, but at some point I could no longer summon the willpower to spend time on my packages. It didn't help that I was also under a lot of stress, generally. Still am, really.

Such a shame, because it was a great idea, and seemed to be working well for a while. Perhaps a fork can be created, if so.

I'd love for someone to take it up!

For what it's worth, I've been marked as "inactive" on CTAN, so all my packages there are now "orphaned". Anyone who comes along and wishes to "adopt" them is free to do so.

Moreover, I'd be happy to get on a call with anyone who wants to start maintaining any of them, and I'd do my best to help reverse engineer my old code. 😄

I presume you meant to tag me, but in any case, thanks for clarifying the situation! If someone more experienced than me (like @josephwright) doesn't fancy taking it up, then I might consider. Appreciate the offer of help.
