FLOWER_BASIC_AUTH variable in docker compose doesn't work #1318

I am trying to use FLOWER_BASIC_AUTH variable as per the documentation in the docker compose file.

  flower:
    container_name: airflow-flower
    environment:
      FLOWER_BASIC_AUTH: "foo:bar"
    command: celery flower

The container is crashing and keeps restarting. The only logs I have are the following:

/home/airflow/.local/lib/python3.8/site-packages/airflow/models/base.py:49 MovedIn20Warning: Deprecated API features detected! These feature(s) are not compatible with SQLAlchemy 2.0. To prevent incompatible upgrades prior to updating applications, ensure requirements files are pinned to "sqlalchemy<2.0". Set environment variable SQLALCHEMY_WARN_20=1 to show all deprecation warnings. Set environment variable SQLALCHEMY_SILENCE_UBER_WARNING=1 to silence this message. airflow command error: argument GROUP_OR_COMMAND: celery subcommand works only with CeleryExecutor, CeleryKubernetesExecutor and executors derived from them, your current executor: SequentialExecutor, subclassed from: BaseExecutor, see help above.
usage: airflow [-h] GROUP_OR_COMMAND ...

positional arguments:
  GROUP_OR_COMMAND

    Groups:
      celery Celery components
      config View configuration
      connections Manage connections
      dags Manage DAGs
      db Database operations
      jobs Manage jobs
kubernetes Tools to help run the KubernetesExecutor
      pools Manage pools
      providers Display providers
      roles Manage roles
      tasks Manage tasks
      users Manage users
      variables Manage variables

    Commands:
      cheat-sheet Display cheat sheet
dag-processor Start a standalone Dag Processor instance
info Show information about current Airflow and environment
kerberos Start a kerberos ticket renewer
plugins Dump information about loaded plugins
      rotate-fernet-key
Rotate encrypted connection credentials and variables
      scheduler Start a scheduler instance
standalone Run an all-in-one copy of Airflow
sync-perm Update permissions for existing roles and optionally DAGs
      triggerer Start a triggerer instance
      version Show the version
webserver Start a Airflow webserver instance

optional arguments:
-h, --help show this help message and exit

Expected behavior I would expect this variable to work so I can have the username and password in a different environment file and not use --basic-auth=foo:bar in the command for stating the container.

Realised that was related with airflow
