This seems to be more of a conceptional issue than a bug.
We have a map with multiple hundred pins and have map clusters activated. When searching for a keyword, the map doesn't zoom but centers the pin of the first result and opens the info window.
However, with clusters activated, it doesn't show the info window if the pin is hidden within a cluster. So the user has figure out which is the most centered cluster, click on it, and repeat that step until he zoomed in enough to see the highlighted pin and only then sees the info window. If he clicks on a wrong cluster once, he won't find the highlighted pin.
Ideally, when the highlighted pin is hidden within a cluster, the map would zoom in until the highlighted pin doesn't get clustered anymore, therefore showing the user an info window after every successful search.
