Deleted rows/columns show up as blank

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.enter some data in a spreadsheet
2.delete a blank row/column on one side of the data
3.load it using the php class

What is the expected output? 
blank rows/columns are not shown.

What do you see instead?
blank rows show up with a single space.

Please provide any additional information below.

this is normal and as to be expected... you can write something and post here 
that will trim the blank rows and columns as part of the community using this 
code.
