Investigate whether it's possible to show less-ugly results when there's an error #42

Nextflow fails in a really ugly way such that the useful error message is hidden in a whole mess of other garbage. There is a (now-closed) issue about this (nextflow-io/nextflow/issues/725) that the developers seem to have ignored. Just leaving this open in case this ever becomes possible.

Closing this because it seems unlikely to be resolved on the nextflow side.
