debugged previous merge with homepage branch

changes:

• front end: updated paths for key features in App.tsx; debugged App.tsx and main.tsx
• backend: refactored tables creation into services/tables.js

effects:

• page can now load without errors
• run both back and front end from root using npm run install-all, then npm start
