Builds are currently executed on travis-ci.org, which will no longer be supported after 31 Dec. See https://mailchi.mp/3d439eeb1098/travis-ciorg-is-moving-to-travis-cicom

No more free tiere in Travis CI for Opensource Projects Might move to Git Actions might be an option: https://earthly.dev/blog/migrating-from-travis/

There is a free trial month in Travis CI which can be used in case we need CI urgently (i.e. to do a release)
