response packets don't get through in 8.09 port forwarding #130

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Clean install of 8.09 x-wrt wl-500g Premium 2.6
2. Define wan->lan port forwarding rules
3. Look with tcpdump at what is happening

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should see the packet forwarded, and the response make it back.
Instead, I see the packet forwarded, the server sends the reply,
but the reply never makes it back. Outgoing NAT connections work fine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and web
browser?
8.09

Please provide any additional info below.
I put another machine with tcpdump on the wan side just to make sure.

Close this issue. I discovered there was an old iptables rule on the server I
was
forwarding to from when it had split routes, which was affecting only the ACKs.
 I
can't close it myself, even though I opened it...
