Cant go to a space station thats not yours #686

My mate built an awesome space station and so i asked if i could have it and he said yes, i copied over his dim spacestation_2 and his .dat file and added them into my own world. However when i try to launch to the station nothing happens and this comes up in the console [04:27:10 INFO]: Client> [04:27:10] [Client thread/ERROR] [Galacticraft]: Problem matching player name in space station check: shadowwarrior979

Is there a file in which i can open and change his name to mine so i can freely use the station? Thanks for reading

If you open up the correct space station file in the world file's "data" folder, using NBTExplorer, you should be able to change the owner's name.

Ah ok thanks i tried opening the dat file in notepad++ and it was just symbols lol

Ok another problem... it is now letting me access the space station but for some reason there are no door seals and a ton of other blocks are missing. what i did was i opened my mates world and then went to the data folder and opened the .dat file. then i changed the owner name to my name and changed the name of the station and the allowed players (obv to add me) then i saved it and closed nbtexplorer. i then opened mc as usal and used dimensiontp to teleport myself to the station

Is this for 1.6.4 or 1.7.2? Are you sure your friend is using the same version? Also, make sure your friend is using the same config values as you, that would cause the blocks to disappear.

Referring to the title of the bug, it is possible to go to another persons Space Station without any plugins or mods in SMP.

Just create a Launch Controller on the space station you want to travel to and connect it via the proper frequencies to a launch controller on the overworld. This way you can fly to and from another person's space station.

We are working on a full fix to this (additions to the GUI so that space stations can be selected), should be ready soon.

Fixed in the new build 3.0.3.200. Get it from the usual Downloads page.
