Someone reported this as a bug in DC Conversion but apparently it happens even without it.
If you start the Chaos 0 boss battle from the Trial menu, it looks like this:
The moment the camera starts zooming out it corrects itself. If you restart the stage, it also looks correct:
I've confirmed that the right PL/SL pair is loaded and the light direction vector reported in the console is the same. So I'm not sure why this happens.
The issue becomes more noticeable with the DC version of the stage (broken/correct):
The glitch doesn't trigger in testspawn.
