In the latest update, it seems that the MT KUSA object on Red Mountain now always uses its high-poly version and animation when it spawns. And...oddly...its animation seems to speed up when you walk near it? I don't understand what's happening. Is that kind of behavior intended?
Also, the object has a low-poly model, which is normally almost always seen while the object is displaying unless the camera gets real close up to the object. Now, however, the object never uses its low-poly version. I was wondering if it was possible to allow it to use its low-poly version while allowing the animation with the high-poly version to play while still a reasonable distance away from the object.
I'm tempted to think that this object was crippled in the original game due to it causing performance issues in Act 1, which could it explain why it had a character check. And then, why it had such a small draw distance range as well. It would make more sense to me, at least, to give the object the default draw distance, and make its current draw distance the range in which the high-poly version and animation will kick in. But that's just my opinion.
