Strange error on Brees laptop - related to Rget #107

*** What steps will reproduce the problem?

Using Brees laptop, Rget produces an access violation, possible to do with  
infinite iterative calls of checkType

v3.0.0

*** On which Windows operating system?

7 64bit

*** What Fortran compiler (name and version number) are you using?

11.0.3454_2008

*** What version of R are you using?

2.12.1
