Amanda,

I'm not sure what's causing this issue Your problem seems to be related to
statconn installation - which is out of my hands. You may want to check out
http://rcom.univie.ac.at/ for further information

Although, RFortran has not been tested with Windows Vista.

However the next release of RFortran (v3.0.0) the installer is now compatible
with Windows 7 - which could also work on Vista. I would be interested to see
how you go.

I've added you to RFortran-users google group so you can receive updates
