What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Downloading phurl
2. Installing it successfully
3. Attempt to shorten http://google.com

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to get the custom alias that I entered: the.irf/google

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am running version 2.2 on my MAMP test server for Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

Please provide any additional information below.
Here is a screenshot when I go to the index.php file on my test server:

I hope you can help. Thanks in Advance

I had the same problem. Check your config.php file. The SITE_URL should be WITH
"http:// but WITHOUT trailing slash. Example:

define('SITE_URL', 'http://www.example.com');

There's been no more on this so I'll assume martin's suggestion worked.

I have the SITE_URL set up correctly without a trailing slash and I get the
same error message.
