Branding Image not working #493

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. uploadung a logo in branding
2. changin logo in ftp
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i expect to see the logo, i dont see the logo i uploaded or change in ftp

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r561 - i even updated timbthumb to the resent relesse (2.8.14)

Please provide any additional information below.
thubnails just are not showing- getting this error 

A TimThumb error has occured
The following error(s) occured:

    Could not find the internal image you specified.

Query String : 
src=http://x.x.x.x/site.com/sendafile/img/custom/logo/logo.png&w=250
TimThumb version : 2.8.14

I have tried with and withough absolute, I have tried to manually to set 
$_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] = '/home/sites/site.com/public_html/';

Im stuck. any help please...?

folder permission i think it was a white ago
