@vkhatri I completely trust your judgement but curious what's the reasoning behind this?

@michaelklishin i am not happy to do this change, but i could not figure out why knife tests are failing. i have not tested knife/chef 12 yet, IMHO disabling knife seems only solution to get travis test passing until we know the root cause.

perhaps i should open an issue for it, will do. sorry for not providing any description, this is just a temporary fix, not a good one i am happy about. but, it will keep things going at the moment.
