I'm curious, is this only happening on my system or did you not test this? It's kinda strange that nobody reported this until now.

As far as I understand it is only a problem when root contains a tilde. I haven't seen this issue before. That said, I haven't had much chance to use Cucumber in the last several years.

Thats right, I'm just wondering why nobody reported this before me, but whatever. As long as it's working now :).
