1. In MacFusion 1.1 Beta 2, prefer to Start MacFusion on Login.
2. Quit from MacFusion
3. checkout a version from MacFusion
4. launch the checked out version
5. restart Mac OS
6. log in to Mac OS
7. both copies of MacFusion launch automatically
8. from the menu extra icons alone, it's not possible to distinguish between
the two copies
(versions/features of which may differ).
To resolve the issue, assuming that you wish to do so (the value of running two
copies is
debatable, but see issue 102):
1. Quit from both copies of MacFusion
2. launch the *least* preferred version of MacFusion
3. MacFusion menu extra | Preferences … | do *not* Start MacFusion on Login
4. Quit from the least preferred version of MacFusion
5. launch the *preferred* version of MacFusion.
(Step three should remove from System Preferences… | Accounts | Login Items
the least
preferred version of MacFusion without removing the preferred version from
Login Items.)
