beachball on empty password #251

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a login on remote SSH host with an empty password.
2. Permit empty password login in remote SSH config.
3. Attempt to login with password authentication.

This was tested logging in as root. Yes, I know this is bad security.

I expected to see a password prompt. Instead my system locked up.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Version 1.2 Beta 3 (1.1.268)

Mac OS X 10.4.9

I'm labelling this issue 
Milestone-Release1.2 (as we are for all issues relating to SSHFS or CurlFtpFS) 
but as the issue is obscure, I 
can't promise that developers will address the issue accordingly.
