Upload not possible on free FTP : permission denied #255

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I connect to the FTP disk using MacFusion. The FTP server is a "FreeBox",
an ADSL modem from french ISP Free.
2. The disk appears on the desktop. I can navigate and see files on it. I
can download files from the server.
3. If i try to upload files, I get an error message saying I don't have
enough permissions to write on the disk.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would like to upload files on the FTP server.
I manage to do so using several FTP client (Transmit/Fetch/FireFTP)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MacBook CoreDuo 2 GHz
MacOS X 10.4.10 Build 8R2218
MacFuse 1.0.0, MacFusion Version 1.2 Beta 3 (1.1.268)

I tried with the following options :
-o defer_permissions
-o default_permissions
-o allow_other
-o allow_root

but not more successfully.

Thanks for your help.

Amazing...

After seeing
http://code.google.com/p/macfusion/issues/detail?id=248&can=1&q=permissions
and
http://code.google.com/p/macfusion/issues/detail?id=115#c5
I just tried copying through the terminal after mounting my Free FTP disk. It
worked and copied both the file
and the ._file.
After that I tried again through thr finder: on the first attempt, I had the
same error message, BUT THE FILE
HAD BEEN COPIED and stayed on the FTP disk.
Anyhow, on a second attempt, I had the error message and the file disappeared
from the FTP disk :-(

Maybe it can help some people who know much more than I do about that.
By the way, do you know an alternative to the finder to copy files?
