Not possible to set character encoding #264

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to a server with a weird character encoding

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

File names that contain special characters are truncated at the offending
char, and the char is replaced this a ?. So if I have a file kalled

måldukment.ppt

it would be shown as

m?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Version 1.2 Beta 3 (1.1.268)

Please provide any additional information below.

I know that the Server uses a different character encoding (ISO), so it
would be great if there were some way to specify the encoding!
