I don't know how to contact you ,so pls understand my concerened.

1. If you are an instructor or moderator and making a presentation to your
students who don't have moderator right .
2. Suddenly your computer crushed and old browser forzen or you forgot to
close the browser
3. And then you open another window to login again as the same user.
4. Once you login again ,firstly the user list will be confused .
5. Your students will see two of the same users
6. You may not have moderator right and must to ask right from students
again.
7. There are so many un-convenient troubles .

Why don't just keep the same user login ?And once they login again as the
same user and then remove the old session user out ?

Or another assumption ,if someone else known my username and password and
he/she login to the openmeeting at the same time as I did. The other
audience will be totally confused who am I . If my screen can show someone
kick me or login from other place like MSN did,I will realize the problem
and then change my password or re-login again .

I don't knwo which way to explain this issue better for you ,but I tried
kick fucntion and it doesn't work either .

If you think it's not good ,could you make a selection setting for the
user ,which allow user to choose which way is better when duplicate logins
happened.

I do appreciate your help so much!

You may feel everyone should realize the duplicate logins ,but when I test
it on school ,most of users can not realize this problem and just complain
it's a bug ! I think a good conferencing system should think about all
kind of cases .

Thanks

Instead of forbidding this we will implement sth like Google Mail does:
Some info in the user-profile about "Active Sessions" with the same user, and a
button to log those off.
