does the mine function also work with SpigotMC's antixray plugin? #285

not reallly an issue but a question. griefergames.net now have the antixray plugin of SpigotMC so my question is does this bot's mine function also works if there is an anti xray plugin or does it detect the ores in another way? as I heard it only shows random ores everywhere when the world is rendered too fast (so when you can look through walls).

add: when you activate xray you are shown random ores everywhere

another question: can i tell the bot only to mine ores (e.g. quarz) when there are mor than 3 or 4 ores next to each other? (this would bypass the plugin)

OniuUI commented 4 years ago

It will, unless the server-plugin obfuscates where the ores are located.

it doesnt work with ores but i could bypass the plugin if i could tell the bot only to mine ores when there are min 3 next to each other. any ideas how to realize this? or WHERE i could config this? (didnt find anything)

The plugin you are referring to was designed to block xrayers from seeing where the ores are located. Since it's not possible to detect where the ores you want are located, it's impossible to compute a path to that location.

You can use /minebot mine orebfuscated. Mind that it won't mine hidden ores, it will only mine ores that are exposed on any surface (cave, …).

I suggest digging a tunnel and mining all ores exposed in that tunnel only. It will look very natural. https://github.com/michaelzangl/minebot/wiki/Run#simple-strip-mining
