Ubuntu Linux. Odd - I thought the days of OS-specific browser bugs were behind us. It's probably not that big a deal.

Could it be that the font specified is just generic sans-serif, and that I have a different default sans-serif than you? They look pretty different in the screenshots. But, again, prolly not a big deal.

Yeah, that could be it. Except both the height of the bar and the line-height of the nav item is set in pixels and shouldn't be font-dependent. Hmm...

yes - unfortunately - must be an issue with linux dropdowns
