How to read the pins?? #1

First I want to thanks for this idea, is assome to use directly the phone. But I'm having trouble trying to understand in which part you read the pins. I only see digitalRead(outPin + VPIN_BASE) which I assume is to read the virtual pins form the UI, not the ones from FT232.

I want to do a very simple app that reads a pin and when change to 1 send an SMS. Currently I'm doing with an esp32 hooked to an android phone as hotspot which runs an sms gateway https://github.com/capcom6/android-sms-gateway but I believe using directly the phone with ft232 and no hotspot is more reliable.

DigitalRead/Write to pin 0 to 7 include the FT323 pins, pin 8-31 are for exchange between the UI and the Arduino sketch only.
