TB 45 beta 2 - Enigmail 1.9 + MRC Compose 1.8.2

Today I made a few tests with both add-ons on my testing computer.

What happens is that if I have "MRC Composed" activated, the e-mails are always encrypted, even though I only clicked on the button to sign.

I don't have this issue. I know of several people who use Enigmail with MRC-Compose and don't see this issue. Maybe try again with latest versions?

pete-gordon commented 7 years ago

BTW, I am using Thunderbird 45.6.0, Enigmail 1.9.6.1 and mrc-compose 1.8.2 (+ my pull request, but that shouldn't affect this).

Thanks for your feedback. maybe the problem is related to the order of installation of addons ? I'll try to investigate during next weeks.

Hello!

It was me who reported the issue with Enigmail months ago via a private e-mail to you.

I have just tried 1.8.3 with TB 52 beta 2 and it still encrypts the e-mail.

I tried to send an e-mail to myself with just the Enigmail setting to sign the message and, when I pressed the "SEND" button, a window opened about encrypting the message.

@michelRenon Hello!

One year has gone by.

Are there any updates on the issue?

Thanks!

@michelRenon

It seems that the latest versions of Enigmail solve the issue, as one just needs to click twice to disable encryption.
