Trouble with device royaltec mbt 1000 #169

What steps will reproduce the problem?
 1. the program remains at rest on devices - 00:1 f: 1b: 34_06 and remains on the query device names .... gps device royaltec modell mbt 1000 - FCC ID rccmbt
 2. how to solve this problem?

 What is the expected production? What do you see instead?

 Which version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
 GPS BT stack 1.5 - ios jeilbreak 3.1.2 iphone 2g

hi. can you attach the file /tmp/hci_dump.pklg from your device, after you 
tried to connect? you can use iFile to send it by mail to yourself e.g.

Thanks for the log. The name reported by the device is "MBT 003406" and then 
follow some 200 times the value 0xff. That's incorrect (the remaining bytes 
should be filled with 0x00). 

It could be that BTstack or BTstack GPS fail to handle that incorrect name. 
I'll have a look to see if it can be fixe and will try to prepare an update for 
you to test.

Hi Dio

I was able to reproduce a crash of BTstack by simulation a device with the 
invalid name of your device. WIth that info, I fixed BTstack to be a bit more 
tolerant. Do you know how to install .deb packages? The new version of BTstack 
is here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5138628/BTstack-0.3-1181.deb
