hi. please check first if BTstack GPS keeps running when just leaving it. You
can look for the BTstack icon (flipped BT icon). If BTstack gets killed, the
icon disappears after 20 seconds. If you use Backgrounder, make sure to select
"Native Backgrounding" for BTstack GPS (or Mouse or Keyboard).
If that doesn't help, what other Bluetooth or GPS-related patches do you have
installed. Please de-install and try again (notably roqyGPS).

BTstack GPS also gets killed if I'm just leaving.
I have installed:
BTstack
iBluever
and I had installed roqyGPS but I removed before installing BTstack GPS.

just reinstalled it, but still doesn't work.
I also tried Native Backgrounding but it happens the same like I close it
without any Backgrounding options. (BTstack icon diesappears after some seconds)

Hi Lenny,
what might be the problem:
Navigon writes down the first successful connection to a GPS device in a file.
Maybe it refers to this file. Just tryed to figure out which one it was, but no
success yet. If I find it i´m getting back to you.....
Regards

lennart - please install CrashReporter and check if BTstack GPS crashes and if
yes why.

I installed CrashReporter and tried it again. But if I start Crash Reporter
there is no report. So I think BTStack GPS does not crash.

lennard - ok. it's good if it doesn't crash. could you now do this: start
BTstack GPS, connect to GPS, wait a minute, leave BTstack GPS using the HOME
button. wait until icon disappears. now, attach /tmp/hci_dump.pklg from your
device here or send to iphone@ringwald.ch

I didn't get any satellites, but that's not a problem or?

Attachments:
hi. the actual GPS data doesn't matter. in the log, there is a disconnect
request isseud either by BTstack GPS or by the BTstack daemon. There are two
possibilities for that: a) you did press the "disconnect" button in BTstack
GPS, b) BTstack GPS is not properly registered.
I first wondered if a crash could of BTstack GPS could cause this, but no, if
it would crash, BTstack daemon would close the l2cap channels first and only
close the baseband 10 seconds later.
Can you send device ID to iphone@ringwald.ch, I'll check if you're properly
registered.
