micheleg / dash-to-dock

A dock for the Gnome Shell. This extension moves the dash out of the overview transforming it in a dock for an easier launching of applications and a faster switching between windows and desktops.

Super Key Shortcuts active even when disabled #1205

The strangest thing: I turned off the super key shortcuts in the settings, but they still seem to be active somehow.

I am on Manjaro Gnome 20

I can confirm that for at least half a year if not more this has been an issue on Arch Linux, too. That is, for some reason the Super+(0-9) shortcuts activate apps even if Super+(0-9) is also set to switch between desktops in GNOME keyboard settings and "Use keyboard shortcuts to activate apps" is disabled in Dash to Dock's settings.

https://github.com/micheleg/dash-to-dock/issues/1073 seems to be the same issue.

Solution from numerous duplicates of this issue: https://github.com/micheleg/dash-to-dock/issues/1036#issuecomment-547400441, which also fixed it for me.
