Dock keeps screens from turning off #2057

It seems that the Dock is preventing the screens from actually turning off when shut down by the OS. (Or, rather its only made blank in stead of actually turning off) I'm running Ubuntu 23 (22 did this as well) on x64. When you turn off the dock in Gnome settings the screens turn off after the timeout as they should, however with the dock enabled it does not.

Does the bug occur in Wayland sessions, Xorg sessions, or both?

Are you able to report the issue to Ubuntu too?

I'm running Wayland yes. Not sure about XOrg. Thanks I reported the bug to Ubuntu.
