A dock for the Gnome Shell. This extension moves the dash out of the overview transforming it in a dock for an easier launching of applications and a faster switching between windows and desktops.

click action: minimize (single window) switch then minimize (for multiple windows) #365

Hi,

I'd like single instance/window of an application to minimize on click.

If more than 1 window exists, clicking should switch windows, one after another, then minimize both on clicking.

or a 3rd one like ubuntu unity dash; multiple windows get focus one after the other then it presents (spreads) the application windows, like in overview.

Could you please consider this as a behavior option.

Thank you.

Hi,

the problem I see with such behaviour is that it is not obvious what the action would be on clicking the application launcher. I understand that the "running dots" should hint on the application status.

I believe that - in particular after #349 -plenty of options are already available. The benefit of a direct minimize on click as you are suggesting would be to save for the explicit press of the shift modifier
