A dock for the Gnome Shell. This extension moves the dash out of the overview transforming it in a dock for an easier launching of applications and a faster switching between windows and desktops.
Currently, there's the option to either "Isolate workspaces" or not when showing running applications.
I would like to see something in between. Where applications in other workspaces are still shown but with a different indicator.
The Unity dock had a way of showing running applications that aren't in the current workspace with a different indicator. Here's a picture from a PC World article showing that the "Software Updater" has a white filled triangle, while Firefox and Nautilus have something resembling an arrow.
