A dock for the Gnome Shell. This extension moves the dash out of the overview transforming it in a dock for an easier launching of applications and a faster switching between windows and desktops.
The fullscreen and expand buttons vanished. It's been like that for days, there's only the cog icon. But it's also weird, because the buttons appear while the page is being loaded. I can see the scrollbar on the right disappearing for a moment then appearing again.
The workaround for this is to unmaximize the window and maximize it again or disable the extension temporarily.
The bug is also present in Firefox and Chromium even after a fresh install of Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. I installed Dash to Dock from the gnome-shell-extension-dashtodock package, but with the version from extensions.gnome.org, I have the same issue. I'm not sure if it's a bug from the extension or from YouTube itself, but it's weird that disabling Dash to Dock fixes this.
