Seems odd to raise this as an issue but... the README doc you've written for this project is scary good. However, it's a lot and I think this information would be better served under github.io, linked to from the project README, which can then concentrate on project overview.

The readme-best-practices projects states it perfectly -

A brief description of your project, what it is used for and how does life get awesome when someone starts to use it.

This is such a cool project and deserves more attention - a more consumable README that gives an overview of what the project does, helps people onboard quickly, gets them running it on their platform, and explain how to contribute, et al. would help infinitely.

I was just about to say the same thing. I don’t care about paint but your description of all the first principles involved have the making of something quite special.
