Billboard should be able to figure what kind of a thing you're trying to send to it using a simple heuristic:

If the url ends in .jpg, .gif, or .png, it's an image.
if the url contains youtube, and you can extract out the video id, it's a youtube video.
if it doesn't meet the above categories, it's treated as an iframe.

Awesome!

I think it shouldnt try to guess if action is set. Specifying an action should override any guess.
