Venue sort order probably not be behaving as expected

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Bring up the venues list
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of venues being sorted closest to farthest, it appears that the
sort is treating the numerical values as text strings and sorting them in
strict character/text? order instead of numerical order - for example,
"10000 meters" gets listed before "1400 meters," which gets listed before
"150 meters," which gets listed before "410 meters," which gets listed
before "89 meters" and so on.

(You didn't ask, by the way, and this is off-topic or this defect report
but I kinda preferred the good old fashioned alphabetical order to find the
venues I'm looking for.)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
