Nondescriptive error message if pdf-file is open on PC at the same time #102

I've been able to annotate a pdf file on my tablet, using xodo pdf reader (uawei Media Pad M5lite) For testing, I've opened it on my pc, to my delight I could see all annotations.

Subsequent uploads of new annotations failed with a nondescriptive error-message: (sorry, don't remember original wording; something about Java error, Server error Number).

I know it's my mistake to open the same file on two devices simultaneusly, but some indication of what might be wrong and preventing upload (newer version on server) would be helpful.
